I recently stayed at Hostal Chocolate for a solo trip to Oaxaca. The staff were incredibly friendly and the building itself was lovely. The neighborhood is relaxed and close to the center. I especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace, although it could benefit from some plants to make it cozier. The bed in my room was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel also has a nice bakery inside, offering fresh croissants and other treats.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location near the city center and convenient for exploring the city. Rooftop terrace was a nice spot to relax and enjoy the view. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and a fan to keep us cool. a pleasant and enjoyable stay during our city break.
There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. The lack of street signage made it a bit difficult to find the hotel initially.
